I'm in my hotel room in Houston. I wont really get to see much of the city since I'll get put to work right away. In the meantime I'm watching Futurama, and trying to get the last bits of work done on Black Maria before I jump into Moon for the Misbegotten, so I'll keep it short. Scarlet Letter opened yesterday in Worcester and runs through the end of the month. It was a great project, and I was really happy with how it came together after such a short process. Hopefully I'll actually get to see it before it closes. We were working so fast and I had to travel, so I couldn't be there for opening. I recorded new material for the A Thousand Ships EP this weekend, and it's starting to sound really good. Mike will do his parts while I'm out of town, then we'll do Victor's when I get back. It's taken us two years to get this much done on it, but it'll be worth it.
I posted yet another song to be cut from my new record. I recorded "Apart" when I was living in Jersey in 2003. A Thousand Ships played it once or twice, then Pachadio picked it up and it became part of our standard repetoire. I haven't really played it much recently, but it's still a good song.
